Check out the to 5-hit posts from our friends at SilverlightShow last week:

From:

Vikas' latest post is about a Cookie Manager in Silverlight... a class that aggregates common functionality related to cookies

Rene Schulte has released a new version of WriteableBitmapEx on CodePlex... this post has a feature list of the new version and links to the source

Ollie Riches continues drawing stuff on BingMaps... this time he is tessallating shapes on a bing map for showing pin clusters or heat maps, for instance.... hang on while I go look up Tessallating:)... wow great tutorial and lotsa code/discussion

Alex van Beek decided this would be a great time to refresh everyone on XAML escape sequences since they're good for not only Silverlight 4, but WP7x, and Metro... and what that does for navigation.

In this part 3 of his Series on Authorization in Silverlight at SilverlightShow, Kevin Dockx talks about various ways to secure your service calls

Michael Crump has 2 more episodes in his series at SilverlightShow. Episode 3 of his Silvelright 5 series is Graphics... XNA 3D API to be exact... nice beginner tutorial and sourcecode links

Michael Crump followed that post up with this part 4 in his series...this one covering media features such as low-latency sound using features right out of XNA and Remote Control and Media Command (Keys) support

Michael Washington's latest post is this one on a minimal LightSwitch Shell containing only Save, Refresh, and Design buttons that will load the default screen... all done in great tutorial detail as is all of his work.

I like this... Antoni Dol took a shot at the Photoshop UI in Metro... probably the first large-scale app I've seen someone try to really do in Metro. Interesting to look at and read, plus he leaves us with some things he didn't solve, and interesting comments

Colin Eberhardt has a few posts up... first this one on using the IPagedCollectionView and IPagedDataSource... we could all probably use a good reference post on paged data... I know it's been a hassle for me with real-world data

Colin Eberhardt's next post is on the Visiblox Charts and adding error bars to represent the spread of experimental observations... pretty cool stuff... check out the chart at the top of the post.

Colin Eberhardt's latest post is another from his experimentation with PhoneGap... this time explaining his solution to the issue of Tombstoning... i.e. one step closer to a full solution.

Lazar Nikolov has a post up at SilverlightShow on the FaceBook Graph API... sharing his experience with it's use... from setting it up to getting it running.

Stay in the 'Light!
