From:
Manas Patnaik's latest post is a Silverlight 5 Beta one on the Implicit Data Template feature... good explanation, diagrams, and code.
Walter Ferrari has a post up at SilverlightShow discussing the NESL, and interacting with the motion sensors using the wiimote... description and test app.
Kevin Hoffman has Part 6 of his WP7 for iPhone and Android devs up at SilverlightShow... concentrating this time on Application Tiles and Push Notifications.
Joost van Schaik sent me this post on a problem he came across associated with Behaviors in a WP7 app not unhooking when the objects were deleted. He modified the behaviors to take care of this, and shared the code including a snippet... the link appears to be broken right now, but I'm sure he'll get that fixed:)
Alex Golesh has a post up about Silverlight 5 Beta and since there's a #1 on it, I can only assume there will be more. This first focuses on Data Binding and data handling enhancements.
Alex Golesh follows that up with #2 and is all about multiple windows support in Silverlight 5 Beta.... nice demo with sample code.
In his Third Silvelight 5 post, Alex Golesh is talking about a couple of things... controlling text characteristics and TrickPlay -- controlling the playback rate of a video without losing the audio properties.
Alex Golesh's latest post is on Silverlight 5 Beta's 3D capabilities... another cool demo with code...
Dave Davis walks you through the way he puts a Silverlight app together... all MVVM'd up using MVVMLight and discusses the challenges Silverlight imposes upon you.
Tony Champion's talking about the PivotViewer we saw at the Firestarter. He's discussing his wish list for the control, and talks about his PivotViewerLessons CodePlex project and mentions a new project that he's not talking about yet.
Kunal Chowdhury has a post up discussing ClickCount in Silverlight 5 Beta... or in other words, was that a click or a double-click?... nice demo app and discussion of how it works.
In Kunal Chowdhury's next post, he continues with the ClickCount issues he hinted at near the end of the previous post. He details two issues he has found with the ClickCount code.
Rudi Grobler has a solution out to the problem of getting users to rate your app... how about asking them?... and using Launchers and Choosers, he's got a very simple code solution.
Colin Eberhardt's latest is up, and he's talking about a list control designed for WP7 navigation pages... it renders twice as fast as a ListBox and has a simpler API.
