Shoutouts:
John Bruin has a fun Silverlight app up on his site:... with source.
Pixel in Gene posted a Quick tip about changing SketchFlow’s startup page name (Silverlight)
From:
Nokola posted information about and a link to his EasyPainter Beta, and wow is this a very nice online 'paint' tool. I'm sure we're going to hear a lot about this one!
Braulio Díez Botella wrote about a Toolkit DLL problem, but this could apply to any DLL used in your Silverlight app. Don't take a step backward in time!
Wow, so much Silverlight goodness today:)... Gavin Wignall has a very nice 3D sample up... well it LOOKS 3D:)... great explanation, all the code, and on this dual quad-core machine it just looks perfect!
If you've got a Silverlight app of any size at all, you should probably print out this post by David Poll where he has a great multi-XAP loader explained in great detail... source, and just tons of info... I'm printing it as a PDF myself:)
Mike Taulty has a very cool application for MEF up... switching in and out the different modes his Silverlight app may be running in.
Pete Brown has a quick tip up on OOB in Silverlight 4B... and it's nice to see Pete posting some Silverlight stuff too:)
Tim Heuer has a cool SL4B article up on a music project he's working on. He's discussing dragging MP3 files onto a Silverlight app and reading the metadata... very nice!... and when you blog a tad late about something, there's also lots of good comments on the post:)
Bruce Abernethy has begun a series on IFS Fractals. This is the first and introduces the basics, and how he's going to tackle this project. He also has a road-map of what all 5 episodes are going to be about.
In Bruce Abernethy's 2nd post in the series, he introduces the IFS transform and then automates it... definitely the most interesting article on fractal generation I've seen!
Kathleen McGrath has a post up about a Channel 9 video by Steve Stein, and accompanying blog post on the drag and drop databinding features in Visual Studio 2010B for all us Silverlight geeks.
Stay in the 'Light!
