Einar Ingebrigtsen announced
Victor Gaudioso has a list of all his videos: All of my Silverlight Video Tutorials in One Place: (Revisited)... of course you could Search SilverlightCream for his name:)
Since I'm home this morning, this is almost a 'home boys' post... catching up with all the blogs I can't see at the office (yet):
From:
Andrej Tozon has a tutorial on SilverlightShow where he's building a pretty complete 'doodling' application... wow... that's all good!
Check out nmarun's XAP Reflector... first version and pretty cool... give it a shot, and give him some feedback.
AmazedSaint built a framework up to expose a bunch of Silverlight Hacks he's been playing with, and plans on building on this and sharing it all with us.
Remember when Shawn Wildermuth lambasted Brad Abrams for his PDC post?... well, ok maybe not 'lambasted', but hey... it's my blog:)... Shawn's starting his series here... this is definitely going to be an RIA Services series to read.
Fredrik Normén follows up a post about handling.NET RIA Services exceptions with one on the same subject, but this is WCF RIA Services.
Damon Payne has a tutorial up on OOB, MEF, Isolated Storage, and sometimes connected... say that 5 times real fast:)
Victor Gaudioso has a new post up on the Silverlight 4 Beta OOB application scenario... how to do all the setup for one, including the new WebBrowser control.
Jeremy Likness slipped a couple posts past me... if I miss something, kick my tires! The first is about using Actions to deal with Asynchronous web service calls.
Jeremy Likness' next post is on MVVM and Unit Tests with Silverlight, and Unit Tests for the View itself... lotsa fun code:)
Alan Mendelevich produced a cool Battleship game in Silverlight and is sharing the code with all of us.. MsPL license... very nice, Alan!
If you're looking for a good intro to MVVM and Silverlight, Dan Wahlin may have it for you in his latest tutorial... good starting point!
Looks like Lee slipped a couple past me also... This first one is in response to a forum post about customizing datafield... sample and all the code.
In this second post, Lee details an issue with DataField binding it to a collection and the control not being enabled... but he shows how to get it to work.
.aspx")
The Expression Blog has a nice tutorial up on Assigning template parts to objects... making it easy to design control templates.
If you've tried to use Fiddler with WCF RIA Services you're hitting the binary-encoding wall, but Andy Beaulieu explains how to use Samuel Jack's plug-in and get the job done... great post, Andy!
Gill Cleeren's latest in his Silverlight Advent Calendar series is up and he's talking about the Silverlight 4B right-click context menu... but he makes Christmas go away:) [see the demo]
Stay in the 'Light!
