Silverlight Cream for July 12, 2009 -- #636

In this Issue: Rob Houweling, Michael Washington, Mark Monster, and Alex Golesh(2, 3, 4).

From another all-submittal post:

Rob Houweling pulls off a resizing font in a textbox... this is very cool because last time I recompiled one of my legacy win32 articles, the native desktop code wouldn't do this without some finagling... thanks, Rob!

Michael Washington took some time and got Tim Heuer's Floating window working inside Silverlight Desktop and you can drag elements from one floating window to another.. very cool, Michael!

Mark Monster revisits Silverlight support in Google Analytics and discusses a few ways to handle it then shows an example using User Defined values including a Google Analyics screenshot.

Alex Golesh provides us with a good OOB reference based on the new SL3 bits.

Did you know Silverlight 3 supports multi-touch on Windows 7? Alex Golesh explains and shows sample code for it!

Another Quick Tip from Alex Golesh on getting SL3 to use the Browzer zoom... very cool.

Alex Golesh has updated his SilverlightRTL project on CodePlex for SL3 and has samples in the download. There's also a screenshot in this post.

Stay in the 'Light!
