Restarting the Silverlight Object with different initParams from within Silverlight
Mark Monster shows us how to restart our SL app with different init parameters, and he's doing it from either JS or the app itself.. cool stuff, Mark, thanks!
How to make cross-site service calls in Silverlight using JSON
Daniel Crenna goes somewhat against type and shows how to make cross-site service calls with JSON... all good info!
Run time is design time for AGT [4]
Continuing along posting older Damon Payne posts to hopefully catch up with him. This is number 5 in the sequence, and is digging into XAML building purple couches... seriously! He also discusses a prior design issue that popped up and a running discussion with self on resolving it.
Deep Zoom Composer has been Updated: Documentation and Bug Fixes!
The Expression Blend and Design Blog has a blog post up about an upgreade to the Deep Zoom composer. Don't miss the part where you have to uninstall the previous before installing this:)
Joe Stegman has posted a great write-up on Silverlight Browser support. Not sure I've seen this all explained in one place.
Joe Stegman then goes on to talk about Opera and Silverlight... and it's not about those 3 guys in tuxes that your wife wants to watch! Joe talks about the one major SL/Opera issue and the workaround for it.
Jonas Follesø has done just exactly what I needed, he has an end-to-end SL app using the Live framework... I've gotten as far as installing everything, maybe now I can get something working!
Stay in the 'Light!
