Shoutout:

Adam Kinney reports that

From:

Deep Earth

John O'Brien sent me this link to Deep Earth on CodePlex. He also has a great demo up at

SilverlightShow put up a very cool site... you go there, log in and get a Christmas tree. Then you find out how many friends you have because as your friends visit your site, you get ornaments on your tree!... so... go to the site, click on "View Tree", type in "WynApse" then take the link at the bottom to "Look at" my tree. Now that you've given me an ornament, make a tree of your own:)

Silverlight Cross Domain Policy File Checker

Fons Sonnemans Sent me this link to an app he has posted that tests Cross Domain Policy Files... this is great. I'm adding it to my right-hand links at WynApse.com... thanks Fons! and if you're looking for some training in the Netherlands or Belgium, check out Fons' site:

Bubble chart

Jesse Liberty tackles the Bubble chart from the toolkit in this first-part article. Great tutorial and great-looking samples. I'm looking forward to his next one adding in a 3rd axis... I've had thoughts about this sort of representation, so maybe Jesse will do the heavy-lifting for me:)

Dan Wahlin has his latest post up on building storyboards and animations at run-time with C# -- good stuff, Dan!

Koen Zwikstra has his first official (new) company release... that being the latest version of Silverlight Spy with a boatload of updates. He also gives some good external references.

Jeff Wilcox addresses a forum query that ended up on the Toolkit issue tracker, and now Jeff has made available on the Codeplex site the code and test source for the AutoCompleteBox upgrade allowing the SelectedItem property to be written.

Silverlight vs Flash: Image Rotator

Terence Tsang has another image rotator up on his site... this one is animating masks which in Silverlight is a bit more than the same thing in Flash!... great-looking rotations though:)

Stay in the 'Light!
