Bill Gates proposes us to buy stamps to send email

“ Buy stamps to send e-mail “  says Bill Gates, to decrease and put hold on spammers now a new idea arises where we might have to pay to send out email messages!! Well can see some benefits i.e. it will reduce SPAM, but can for see and list hundreds of other disadvantages why this might be a bad idea and my friends who study 'finance' can send me some more reasons too.

I think makig good laws enough will reduce the SPAM email but don't want this new idea of paying for the email. Justin just thiking about this makes me realise that my Virtual world may be in danger!!

EDIT: is there any intellectual person who supports this idea and can explain me few more benefits than that are outlined in the article.
