I have recently installed vs 2005 beta 1 http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=8d702463-674b-4978-9e22-c989130f6553&displaylang=en and just opened up a very small solution and without even doing anything in the IDE – I was actually creating a previous post I get the dreaded bubble from the VS 2005 IDE which states:-
Microsoft Visual Studio is busy
Microsoft Visual Studio is waiting for an internal operation to complete. If you regularly encounter this delay during normal usage, please report this problem to Microsoft.
Thing is:-
1) – I wasnt even using the IDE apart from it opening a very small solution at home.
2) – How should I contact them (if i was to)
I wont contact them as its only at home and as the message says ‘regularly encounter’ but I had hoped that the Beta SP1 would have sorted this – I do get this regularly at work.
Oh well fingers crossed it gets sorted before sp1 is out.
