In this post, Scott Miller talks a bit about his internet footprint, and how some companies (MS in particular) might google you before actually talking to you. So this made me curious...
Here is what I found:
- Googling for: Christopher Williams returns 21,000,000 results and I do not appear at all in the top 100 results.
- Googling for: Chris Williams returns 29,000,000 results and #5 of the top 10 is my blog (that you're reading right now). I appeared a total of 3 times in the Top 100 results.
- Googling for: Chris Williams Charleston SC returns 751,000 results and 4 of the top 10 are either by me or about me.
Looks like I haven't left much of a footprint on the net. At least not under my own name. :)
- Googling for: Samayel70 returns about 83 results and all but the last 2 are either by me or about me.
- Googling for: "Heroic Adventure" returns about 42,000 results and 6 out of the first 30 results are either by me or about me.
- you get the idea...
