XPathmania - new xpath utility for Visual Studio 2005

I'm just repeating what was on MS's xml blog, as well as Don XML , but it's worth repeating.  Don has created an extension for Visual Studio which allows you to execute an XPath query against an XML file.  Other utilities allow it, so I'm surprised that MS didn't already include this.  Thanks Don for making our lives easier.

Also, the other “take away” here is that he provides the source code he used to do this.  If you are creative, this example can open the doors to many new extensions.  Start brainstorming!

Thanks for the sticker Jeff.  As you mentioned, it took some skill to apply the sticker, but it was well worth the effort.  These stickers are awesome.  I can't believe the high quality.

I also added a sticker for my site.  I recently made a deal with my brother that required him to have stickers printed up for my website/nickname, workdog.org.  Workdog has been my nickname for about eight years.  It's a combination of my last name, Workman, and the fact that I “work like a dog”.  If you end up checking out my site, be aware that it's in the middle of being converted to ASP.net, so it's not looking it's best.  Give me a few weeks and it should be looking better.

One cool thing I changed with the conversion is my home page is now “re-broadcasting“ my geekswithblogs.net blog.  It turned out pretty good, but I'm still working on it.  I'm currently getting “warnings“ in VS.  I'll post about that soon.  Either to show how I did it or begging for help. :)

Anyway, check out my top:

Cheers,
John
