RAID servers have an integral role in today’s businesses, businesses, companies, corporate firms et al. Microsoft Exchange Servers’ extensive communication and planning features have made them a necessity to the businesses. A server failure can be devastating and can cause user’s mail communications to go haywire and the planning features to fail making it intricate to organize meetings and email files become damaged.   

RAID Server is a Microsoft program that uses its network and has become very  popular with businesses for sending and receiving e-mail and for other forms of interactive communication. Often, a problem with Server is tough and your server SQL files, database, email files and email exchange files donnot mount or Server services will not boot up. Such a scenario calls for prompt and radical data recovery action plans.

Database witnesses many difficulties and errors including jet error, invalid tables, sector errors, dirty shutdown state, hardware failure, deleted email or virus attacks or malfunction of controller card, power failures that corrupt files and data, boot problems or server program failure, file size problems and human errors.

Data recovery from RAID Servers is an extremely tricky process from your Microsoft  Servers. Priv.edb and pub.edb files, PST files, and recovering corrupted mail database from damaged mailboxes. During the recovery process database saved and recovered is kept in the shared personal storage file or .pst format file, which is compatible with other compatible mail client or outlook.

Installing a Windows 2000, 2003 or later versions provides you with a back up utility that is updated frequently and can perform online Servers backup. The backup process also frees a lot of disk drive space as it clears the transaction logs that are stored in the database. Each transaction log occupies 5 MB of  disk space and there may be hundreds of such unnecessary files in the system. These logs should only be cleared with the backup program and manual deletion should never be carried out.

In an Exchange/Mail environment, even the most trusted back up utility can become corrupt. The known practice of upkeep of the system is not sufficient enough to recover or repair lost data in server or hard disk drive from failure or structural damage situations. Even the best configured system can suffer from damaged folders or files, deleted records either accidental or deliberate, back up files not recognized, virus attacks etc.

System recovery is the initial step if a physical failure of RAID Servers happens. In case of a server crash it is best to seek the advice of a reputed data {recovery firm. Their specialist recovery engineers use proprietary tools to recover damaged Priv.edb and pub.edb files and for recovering Exchange server databases.

Very informative post. If you are having corruption in hard drive then initial step is perform system recovery i.e. data recovery that can be do by data recovery tools. However if it is subject of damage or corruption of exchange server only then exchange servery recovery tool is much needed.

Although need of an exchange recovery app is required in both cases (either hard disk or mailboxes corruption) because after system recovery, exchange mailboxes can not open or import with any new exchange server. The way is left to export exchange mailboxes into pst and then import pst into exchange server or open with ms outlook. For that, an exchange server independent edb to pst converter app is required that is EDB Converter. It supports recovery and export of both edb files (either priv or pub).
