Well Orkut is not as secure I thought it would be or should be at this stage. I just found out that with the pictures that we put up on Orkut, if somebody wanted to put those pictures out to the public on the Internet, they could easily do it just by copying the link of that image, like this one & this one (Yes,she is beautiful). Now this is not exceptable in my view. Those pictures should be secure as all other information is or is supposed to be.
Also, Orkut should be giving users the options of locking access to those pictures too, as it does with other information, so we can decide that whether the pictures are available to our friends, friends of friends or to everybody (Yes, I remember that it is still in Beta). I am sure that sooner or later, somebody will find a way out and the pictures of Orkut members will be accessible by anybody on the Internet. Would Google be indexing those images in 'Google Images' section?
