    This is a continuation of a couple of previous posts.  The good news is that I seem to have identified the source of my display aggravations.  Luckily it seems that it is just the screen saver that doesn't know how to render an image properly.

    Since my earlier posts I have worked with several image editing tools and installed Webshots and a third party photo screen saver.  None of them are showing the display issue that the Vista native screen saver does.

    So, although the title of this post is negative it is actually a positive that Vista itself and the Toshiba hardware that I am using are not at fault.  If this is the limit of my problems than I guess I can live with it.
