As usual my other lives are creeping into my work. I submit photos to challenges and review what other people has submitted. In the process I noticed that there was never a negative comment for any of the photos. Now what does a person learn from that?
On the other hand you have the peer reviews that we go through as architects and developers. In these you rarely hear someone compliment you on a diagram that makes the subject area easier to understand or a sentence that clearly captures the business needs.
I think most people know that in order to be effective you need to add both as seasoning. We tend to forget this though. Consider this a reminder as I remind myself.
