Google mobile local - not with Sanyo

$400 phone and I can't use the new Google mobile local search...that's crap. The message says "Sorry the browser on your phone is unable to display Google Mobile Local Search."

I have a Nokia 6820 which according to Nokia's website is in fact WAP 2.0 enabled. I receive the unsupported browser message as well...What's up with that!?

Update!
Try this:
Navigate your phone to:
www.google.com/xhtml

Now select Local search and search on the empty string

You should now see the local search screen. (bookmark here)

It worked on my phone, hopefully you will have the same result.
