Thoughts & Experiences of Ray "Jae" Jackson-Linder...

It's going to be a great year...

Wow, with yesterday being to first day of the year it's already starting off great. For the first time of my life, I found my real father. The story? Well for short, when I was 6 years old, I was adopted and raised by the Linder family. Since then, I've never seen or met any of my real/biological family. Well, yesterday changed all of that and for the first time after 21 years, I spoke to my dad and grandpa. Come to find out I have 2 younger sisters and a brother. I also found out that my real name is Jae Aaron Jackson. This summer I plan to meet them all in person and am very excited about it (finally get to go fishing again).

This is great! Here's an interesting story of a similar experience twelve years ago:

An adopted acquaintence of mine had gone to a Mormon temple in Canada with hopes of receiving some guidance to find her biological mother. After about a half hour just sitting and pondering in the foyer there was an older lady who came in. They got to talking, and the older woman explained that she had hopes of eventually finding her long-lost daughter. Well, you can guess the rest of the story. Sure enough they were family, and reunited again. Strange coincidence? I don't think so. It was time for them to be back together again.

I hope you have a great experience getting to know your family! 1/3/2007 3:25 AM | Lorin Thwaits
