Microsoft announced the betas for Visual Studio 2005 Express yesterday. They're an inexpensive line of Visual Studio products for the academic world or hobbyists. They look like a great way for anyone to learn the .NET languages and to get out there and develop. Many thanks to Carl Franklin for the heads up. [Update:] Looks like Tejas beat me to it. Well, I'm back after a GREAT wedding and a GREAT honeymoon in Vancouver. Had a blast at the wedding although my shoes killed me (I'm looking at you Moores...) but the tuxes and service were great so it makes up for it I guess. Alot of people have been asking for pictures, I'll try to get some posted this weekend for your perusal. Lots more detail to come, I have to prepare for two courses that I'm delivering plus catch up on work (as well as spend time with my lovely wife :-) ) so I'm a bit pressed...
