I got the specs on my new cell phone today – the
Samsung SCH-i730 from Verizon. I have been using a Blackberry in its various incarnations over the past four years, my current model being the 7250 with Bluetooth which is a very nice unit. I am curious to see how the Windows Mobile experience compares. Unfortunately it comes stock with Windows Mobile 2003 instead of Mobile 2005. Hopefully it will be upgradeable. There is also a debate looming on the forums if it has its wi-fi disabled or only disabled when in an area that supports Verizon evDO. We will see. If not, Skype would be an interesting experiment. I will post a review of the unit once I have had a few days to play with it.
