A year ago, if you told me I would listen to only News Radio from 5am to 5pm, I would tell you that you are smoking crack.  I couldn't comprehend how in the 00's, people would still listen to AM radio.

Well then I started listening to the Dave Ramsey Show on XM because on a project with 5 people in one room, it is hard to compromise on music, so it worked.  Well early this year, John insisted we listen to Laura Ingraham, who I personally don't like but I started getting into the concepts of news radio.  A few months later, I am addicted.  I only listen to AM, XM, and Stream-based news radio.  Here is a list of the shows I listen to and where (all CST times):

Then at 6:00pm, I watch the Glenn Beck program on CNN Headline News.  After that point I go back to live and watch whatever sitcom that is on NBC, FOX, ABC, or CBS.

Anyone else addicted to News Radio?

From around July-November in an election year I will listen to a lot of NPR. It has pretty good continuous coverage of all sides issues with some other information interspersed to break it up. Does ESPN radio on XM count as News? Then yes!!

Largo vive la radio de la charla! LOL, ok not a good translation, but Google Translater pulls though again.

I have been uber-hooked on talk radio since the spring of 2004. I used to listen to it nonstop during grad school at Mizzou.

I'm a little disappointed that The Savage Nation isn't still on the Kansas City airwaves. What a sad sad thing.

BTW, I agree on Laura Ingram - not so much a fan.

The only thing I find sad about listening to talk radio is realizing how little the younger audience knows/keeps up with the political situation of the world. After listening to some of the callers try to make a case based on such insightful knowledge as "Bush is bad, mmmkay" or "we should love and accomodate everyone, including terrorists who are trying to kill as many innocent people as possible", it makes you feel like the smartest person in the world. :)

For the most part, that's all I listen to. Although , talk radio in Kansas City really sucks. If you ever listened to 980 KMBZ from 5AM untill 11AM ( when Rush comes on ) , you know what I mean.

AM 710 KCMO picks up The Savage Nation live from 5PM to 8PM (CDT). I really like that show and also Alex Jones. He's heard on AM 1140 for only the last two hours, unless KCXL is pimping thier bookstore.

Yes, Michael Savage IS STILL on here in Kansas City.

He's now heard LIVE from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM (central time) on AM 710 KCMO. Then Rusty Humphries is on right after, also live, from
8:00 PM to 11:0o PM.

From another Alan in Kansas City
