Join the GeeksWithBlogs Guild on WoW Duskwood Server



John and I have bought the rights to a guild we are forming on Duskwood for Geekswithblogs members who play WoW. My character is Darthnode so ping me if you are interesting in joining.

Count me in!!! I have two or three characters on that server: Armak (Human Priest), Prak (Dwarf Warrior), and a soon-to-be-created NE Hunter. I like to mix it up :). Plus, this way, I can _really_ take advantage of resting XP ::grins::. I'll shoot you a message next time I'm in the game when you are :).

Alliance is a bunch of pansies... but having said that, I do happen to have an alliance character I could move over there. Of course its not nearly as high a level as my favorite horde character... but hey. Life goes on.

Sweet horn-tootin' Jesus, did I read correctly (on the WoW site) that it costs $25 (that's TWENTY-FIVE) frickin dollars to transfer a character between realms???

WTf'nF is THAT all about??

its about being the cheapest realm transfer of any MMO that allows it....

wow.. err.. excuse me.. WoW. That's still a lot of money IMO, but I guess.... I could do it. The only char I have worth transferring is Horde though. Probably better off just power leveling an Alliance char.

I figured that was the issue. It really depends on how much time you have invested in your character. I have been playing my mage since September, he is lvl 57, and its worth $25 easily to not have to do that again.

If your character is not that high, its not very good of a deal, but I think they know that, and are trying to discourage people from transferring just for the heck of it.
