hey... is Express an absolute requirement, for those of us already on VS2005?

I echo the above question. If we have 2005 do we have to use Express? Also, what's the timeframe here? And on top of that are we allowed to use Managed DirectX?

Will we maintain full rights to our code/idea that we submit?

I understand that we must post source code and I don't mind sharing. But once we post code/ideas, does ownership of that implicity turn over to someone else, such as the contest moderators? If I want to use my code or idea in another way, after contest is over, is it still mine to do with as I please?

You own it, but we have the right to publish the code to the contest site and anyone can download it and alter it for their us
