Rocky Lhotka has once again hit the nail on the head. Maybe because I'm one of the object-oriented guys he talks about. I absolutely hate datasets floating around in an application. Bottom line is that the traction that SOA has at the moment will pass when everyone realizes that most business software developed today doesn't really gain anything from it.
