Symantec Internet Threat Report Volume VI, September 2004

BBC NEWS | Technology | Net security threats growing fast
Tens of thousands of Windows PCs are being hijacked daily to spread spam and viruses, a study shows. Click above for the article.

The BBC news team seem to be ever more aware of current technology news. A very good thing too, as the BBC news site is one of the major news outlets online, recieving 45 millions hits a week, and in this case, the news article above is highlighted on the front page.

Now if only they could get tech news on the BBC news tv programme more often ;)

Anyway, with a little delay, Symantec has now posted their Internet Threat Report Volume VI, September 2004 at the Threat Report home page.
60 pages, but only 238kb.

You need to fill out some personal details before you can download, which is annoying, and I would post a mirror, if I was sure that I would not be violating their EULA, which I am not.
