Some interesting observations on the future of client-side scripting. I can only agree that for instance ASP.NET is leaning towards server-side processing (almost as if it's "recommended"). Yes, there are plenty of options for rich client development, but is it easy? Is it intuitive? Not for me, having an ASP 3.0 background. Take a look, cross your fingers and hope for a "rich client friendly" ASP.NET 3.0...
