In trying to update a Linx 1010 tablet to the Windows 10 Anniversary version I got an immediate error telling me there wasn’t enough disc space. The tablet has a 32Gb SSD and I was told another 16Gb was needed. The disc manager was suggested but I couldn’t recover anything like that much space.
After some searching a solution was eventually found; use the MS Media Creation Tool (MCT) to download an ISO file to a USB stick, and run the update from there. Two links on MS Answers give the details.
