Alabama Code Camp

Had a great time out in Alabama yesterday. I was very impressed by the knowledge of the attendees of my sessions (especially the Aspect Oriented Programming one). I have given this presentation numerous times and had actually gone through and taken out most of the discussion about Inner Type Members aka “Mixins” as they seemed to be a difficult concept for many to grasp but after a mention of them I discussed them anyway and everyone seemed to understand the concept!

It was the first code camp I had been to and it was an amazing realization of community. The AL team did a great job on it. I just hope we can compare here in Atlanta. Wally put up a wonderful picture of me here http://aspnetpodcast.com/CS11/photos/alabamahuntsville_codecamp/picture251.aspx

Tomorrow I will be submitting my two presentations for the Atlanta code camp http://www.atlantacodecamp.com/. I will be giving one of these two presentations to the Huntsville User Group as well June 13th. Both presentations are on mono, one focuses on ASP.NET type development (includes a quick reference to monorail http://www.castleproject.org/index.php/MonoRail :D) and the other focuses on desktop based development.

Also someone IM'ed me this today .... hilarious http://media.putfile.com/Microsoft-Rebrands-iPod-Packaging although its really hard to knock Microsoft's marketting :)
