The biggest disadvantage of new operating systems is the lack of working software or at least designed to work on the new platform. One software I was missing for Vista was a decent CD/DVD burning tool, something like Nero. Months ago the team behind Nero already announced that they were working on a patch to make Nero 7 compatible with Windows Vista. Every month they release an update and the latest update that will upgrade your version of Nero 7 to version 5.7.5.0 is that update a lot of people have been waiting for. So now you can install and run your licensed copy of Nero on Windows Vista.
