Frameworkx need some volunteers to help them identify this problem, they have been using and distributing RDP Sidebar gadget for a quite a while, however few number of users have reported problems when connecting to their remote computers, some have reported they receive an “unspecified error” message.
They have been trying to reproduce this error message in our labs but they can’t, They have tried on VMware, notebook, there servers… but nothing.
They never get this error message. If you are receiving this error message and you would like to collaborate, please feel free to e-mail me with the followings:
- Version of Windows Vista (Ultimate, Business, Home, etc…)
- Is your Windows Vista 32-bit or 64-bit
- Clarify if you did a clean install of Windows Vista or an upgrade from Windows XP
- Remote Desktop Gadget version (1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, or 1.4)
- Where did you download the gadget (Live.com Gallery, Frameworkx.com, or other)
- Please also attach a screenshot of the error message
