I know most of you have probably heard of, and even read, Crossing the Chasm by Geoffrey A. Moore, but if by some chance you haven't... You Must! This is by far the best book I have read in quite some time.
For those like myself (Computer Science/Business Student), or for that matter anyone with an interest in entering the marketing or program/product management areas of the industry, this book does something that none of the classes offered (at least at UVic), can come close to accomplishing. This book has taken everything that has been taught in all of my marketing/operations/management classes and places it into a context that will be useful when steping into the crazy world of High Tech. Although my degree is “Computer Science Business Option”, I have only found one commerce class that intersects directly with anything in the Comp Sci Department.
