Windows 7 gadgets disappearing
I have been running Windows 7 for a while now, and I came across an odd problem the other day. The gadgets that I loaded disappeared. So I right-clicked on the desktop and selected gadgets from the menu. Nothing happened. I could not even bring up the gadgets dialog. I spent some time trying various things, but no luck. Snipping Tool: A useful Windows 7 Feature
I don’t know how many people take screenshots on their machine like I do. As they say “A picture is worth 1000 words” and I think it would take a lot of words to describe just how useful I find this. When I have had to do this in the past, I used either a program like Snagit, or I would do the Alt-PrintScreen and paste into an image editing tool like Paint.Net. Windows 7 Beta – Day 1
So I got a copy of the beta of Windows 7 and installed it on my desktop computer at home on a separate drive. I still have Vista x64 installed and decided to do a separate install of Windows 7 based on previous experiences with Microsoft Betas. I must say that the install went very well and so far I have only found a few things that do not install on Windows 7 that I can install on Vista.
