CFL Football Video Game (Sorta...)

So there's this guy...I can't say *who* he is because I don't want his work to get trashed in the potential "Those are our trademarks and you can't do that blah blah blah" backlash.

Basically, this guy created a mod for Madden 08 (for the computer, sorry 360 owners!) that simulates the CFL experience! Check out some of the images I captured from a preview video he put together to show off his work:

It looks like he still has some stuff to do...the refs still have NFL logos and you can see NFL logos on the sidelines. When I looked at part of the video, I *didn't see* a 55 yard line, so it still might be NFL rules under the hood...I'm not sure how open the modding is for the game (jerseys/logos are one thing, but I'd be surprised if he can elongate the endzone, move the uprights, and add 10 yards to the field).

This guy totally missed the boat on the CFL experience! Where is the snow? I saw no screen shots of fumbles and 20 in game interceptions! Also why are so many people in that stadium?

Love the idea but, it's got alot of work to do:
Logos, Jerseys, Stadiums, and players. After Its
finnaly done, how do we get one? Will it be for sale anywhere? Oh, and remember this,
You will go big here in the peg and it wont sell
