...in Seattle!! Yup, that's me. Woke up at 3am again this morning. (That's 6am my time) 4 more days like this and maybe I won't have to “change back” when I go home. :)
Seattle is pretty (from the 28th floor) and still no rain. It never rained last time I was here either. I think they just tell people that to keep them from moving here. :) I could stand up here and look at Mt Rainier all day.
This place has the fastest damn elevator I've ever been in. I went 28 floors in about 3 seconds. I came up so fast I damn near got the bends... (ok not really... but wow it's fast.)
I also discovered a place called Tully's (which is apparently Starbucks #1 competitor in this area?) I'd never heard of them before, but the guys here say they are everywhere Starbucks isn't. (If you ask me that's not all that great of an accomplishment since Starbucks is pretty much EVERYWHERE... therefore not leaving many places for Tullys to claim. I dunno... also, Starbucks (Tazo) chai is better.
Found the Seattle Tattoo Emporium (it's across the street from my hotel, how convenient) and yes I already checked it out, and no I'm not planning on getting any additional work done. (Never say never!) They tend to do a lot more of the old school style of work that is nice, but not really fitting with what I already have.
Ate dinner at Cyber Dogs which apparently serves ONLY 100% VEGETARIAN HOT DOGS. (How the hell did I overlook that little fact??) They were... interesting, and a little expensive, and did I mention the complete lack of meat?? WTF?!? On the other hand, the vegetarian chili the covered it with was actually quite yummy and would definitely be better by itself without that silly veggie-dog under it.
and yes... people are STILL whining about the superbowl. :)
