My Articles

Okay, so in an earlier post I touted the really nice RSS Aggregator Attensa (http://www.attensa.com).  It is free and it integrates with Microsoft(R) Outlook(R).  As I stated earlier, I was going to write my own.  I found Attensa and loved it (and still do, mostly) but I am having a problem.  It seems that, even though I configured Attensa to consume no more than 10% of the CPU, it will ignore the setting and consume 99% of the CPU.  I'm not exaggerating.  In fact, this happened just yesterday evening.  It took me over 5 minutes just to kill the process using Task Manager.  I may now revisit writing my own but I don't want to.  I like Attensa and would like to keep using it but I also want to branch out some...ya know...just in case.  So, can anyone recommend an RSS aggregator?  It does NOT have to integrate with Outlook(R). Any recommendations are appreciated.  Thanks in advance!

I've been using RSSReader for sometime. It doesn't integrate, but it's a very lightweight RSS aggregator that seems to work well...and it's free....

I'm using RSS Popper (www.rsspopper.com) - it integrates with OE and few other things; don't know if it's stand-alone, but seems pretty stable.
