XNA Development: Scrolling a 2D Background

New tutorial on scrolling a 2D background using XNA on my site XNADevelopment. It covers creating the project, adding images to the project and scrolling those images horizontally in a continuous loop.

I've posted the tutorial and the source code if you're interested. So far, I'm SUPER impressed with XNA development and just how easy it has been. The support from the XNA developers in the Microsoft forums has been outstanding as well. These guys are really going over and above helping out all of us XNA newbies as we struggle to fly.

Game development really has just gotten just a whole heckuva lot more approachable by the general population.

Hi, I just wish to say thank you a lot for your tutorials. They are among the best on internet in my books and I really mean it :) Most of other so called tutorials consist of source code with several comments like "//here we draw a line", "//and here we dispose object" which is, well, source but not a tutorial. And you are really taking time to explain what are you doing and why are you doing it, which is what people new to subject need from tutorials. Good job, keep it that way!

Hi !
First...thank you for the tutorials!!
Second i has use your "Scrolling a 2D Background" tutorial, and i have a questions.
How can i make 1 static background and 1 scrolling background at the same time? I mean a backgorund that it's be the same the complete stage, and other that it be like the "field" i mean the stage, with bloks, empty spaces...
I really apreciate if you explain me that, beacuse am new on this and i really want to learn to make my own university project.
Thanks you!!!
