What’s significant about that?  Well, it marks the first month ever that I’ve had more posts than days in the month.  This helps in getting to my 1000 post goal, however, I’m going to have to do quite a bit better yet.

In the 17 months I’ve had this blog, I’ve made 143 posts.  At that rate, I’ll reach 1000 in another 102 months, or almost 9 more years.  That’s obviously not going to cut it.

I’m doing better in the last 6 months, though.  121 posts.  At that rate, I’ll reach 1000 in another 43 months, or 3 1/2 years.  A little better, but not good enough.

Even my pace of the last two months isn’t good enough.  56 posts.  At that rate, I’ll reach 1000 in another 31 months, or 2 1/2 years.

I have to double my current best output (and be consistent at it) to get there in a reasonable time frame. If I do two posts a day, I get there in just over 14 months.

So, I need to start being much more verbose.  And, even beyond that, actually have something worthwhile to say.
