I got to meet Scoble Today

I’m out here in Redmond still and I’m still blown away by everything. Today at the Imagine Cup was just some introductory stuff for the students. Kevin Briody has done a great job in organizing this event and things are going well. Late this morning, we had Robert Scoble stop by and he shot some video for Channel 9. I had the opportunity to meet him and get my picture taken with him. He’s very laid back and a cool guy.

Yeah, Mr. Important Lucky Guy, you're in Redmond and met Scoble, but did you get to see Star Wars last night????? I could tell you about it, but don't want to spoil the ending...

It's very cool you got to visit with Scoble. Tell him to come to Milwaukee for a beer, and an appreciation that there's more to the world than that tree-hugging, tea-drinking hippy business in WA!

P.S. Daryll McDade was the masterful photographer of the Scoble picture. Daryll is the US Academic Marketing Manager for the High School demographic. He's a very "excitable guy" - in a great way that conveys a lot of passion about what Microsoft is doing in the academic developer space. Thanks for the pic Daryll!

I got to meet the students at the Imagine Cup - someday they will all be the .NET rock stars we admire. It was a great event - I was glad to get to see the student presentations and the excitement that they felt about being at Microsoft
