Wow, this past Tuesday night we had a WI .NET Users Group meeting talking about service oriented architectures (SOA) with .NET. We had Matt Terski from my company (Serlio Software) as the presenter. I’m not just bragging about my company’s big guns, but Matt did an awesome job. I’m extremely happy to be working with such a great group of guys.
In addition to Matt, we’ve been able to build a first-rate team of the most expert .NET talent in Wisconsin. Now, among our crew are 4 former Rational Software employees (Rose & XDE team members), Casey Chestnut, Travis Feirtag, and a couple of other senior .NET developers. We’re small, but have already grown to twice our previous size in the past year. I hope everyone is experiencing such great growth in their .NET business.
Thanks to Chris Mayo of Microsoft, we were able to record the meeting using LiveMeeting 2005. It should be available via the archive in a week or so and I’ll be sure to post it here as well as on the WI .NET UG site once it’s available.
In related news, Serlio Software is still searching for talented .NET (senior) developers and architects. We’re in a great (but frustrating) position of having more business than people. If anyone who reads this fits that description or knows of someone who does, please let me know.
