ROCKY 8--The purists are fighting again...
Alright, the purists are taking Rocky (Lhotka) out for another bout. It seems some of his comments on DotNetRocks got under some (fr)agile skin. Check out the discussion
here
. Listen to Rocky's comments
here
and his followup on his blog

re: ROCKY 8--The purists are fighting again...
I have the small notion that you are lumping me in with the "purist" title.
Reread my post. I spoke on specific points. I agree with almost all of Rocky's follow-up post, in fact.
I use a reasonable level of TDD with many other practices that make up my day-to-day activities. There is not one silver bullet, and TDD alone is sorely incomplete as a TDD toolbelt.
I'm one of the Agile practitioners that is not dogmatic about the practice. I evaluate every practice based on the results it produces for me. For instance, I'm not on board with measuring code coverage at this point. I haven't found it useful for me yet (and I don't agree with the 100% code coverage goal). Anyway, thanks for linking. :)
