So it's Monday. Ugh, stayed up way too late last night and now I'm guzzling coffee by the gallon.... Not only did I watch the super bowl (a rarity for me if my local team (San Francisco) isn't in it, and god knows they are not the team they used to be) I also watched most of Survivor (this will bring my total to something like four episodes of that show I've watched.) Between the game and the game show I put the kids to bed, then I hit the net for a while and discovered I shouldn't have gone on poop-patrol in the backyard during halftime. ;) So now it's like 10:00pm and I should be heading to bed, but I still need to do the mundane Sunday tasks: take out the garbage for the morning pickup, do the dishes, etc. Finally at around 11:00pm I get into bed with my sick wife (she's been sleeping and puking all day... ahhh lovely...) Since I need to get up at 6:00am I should sleep, right? No! my current book is calling to me.... So I dive into Cryptonomicon for a while, then around 1:00am I finally force myself to close the book and turn off the light.... Just in time for my two-year-old to wake up and need to be put back to bed..... zzzzz..... Sure in college I got by on only a couple hours sleep a night, but these days.... Uhg....
