I've added a WebCam/Mic tag to Silverlight Cream, and tagged 13 prior posts, so you can now search for them on the search page.

From SilverlightCream.com:

WCF RIA Services – Dynamically create a criteria on the client-side
Fredrik Normén has a WCF RIA Services post up on dynamically building up a search string and pass it to the server side for execution.
Silverlight Preloader
Damon Serji has a pust up at SilverlightTips on building your own Silverlight PreLoader... demo and code available... not the normal preloader, and looks good!
Clipping paths in canvas using Expression Blend
Gavin Wignall has a post up at SilverlightTips discussing Clipping paths in Expression Blend -- good stuff, as usual!
No more magic strings with VisualStateManager.GoToState
András Velvárt is discussing the removal of 'magic strings' from GoToState calls, and a bonus section on using the ability to name states and access them by name.
Silverlight tutorial: HOW TO build CommandLink Control in Silverlight with Expression Blend 3 and Behaviors
Vibor Cipan has a post up about using Silverlight 3 and Behaviors in Blend to build a command link control if you're using Vista or '7'.

Silverlight Cream for December 31, 2009 -- #767

In this Issue: Jeremy Likness, René Schulte, Mike Taulty(2), Kirupa, David Kelley(2), and Jeff Blankenburg(2, 3, 4).

Shoutout:

Alex Golesh posted his material for Silverlight 4 Tutorial @SDP

From SilverlightCream.com:
PRISM, MEF, and MVVM Part 2 of 3: Making PRISM MEF Friendly
Jeremy Likness has Part 2 of his sequence on making Prism friendly with MEF, and we're talking Silverlight 3 here.
Ye Olde Kamera - Silverlight 4 Webcam & Old Movie Shader
René Schulte wasn't satisfied to just use the webcam in Silverlight 4B, but now he's combining it with his PixelShader work he's done in the past to produce some very cool 'old time' videos.
Silverlight 4 Screencasts - the Managed Extensibility Framework (MEF)
Mike Taulty has been really busy with MEF ... he's created 6 videos already for us, and promises more. I'll keep an eye on the Channel 9 link he posted, but you might want to do that as well.
Silverlight 4 – WebCams.OnceMoreWithAudio()
Mike Taulty has another post up about the WebCam and is capturing the audio as well in this one.
Getting the Absolute Position
Kirupa has a post up for Silverlight and WPF explaining how to get the absolute position of an object. He also has a hint for Silverlight developers that are having trouble after using the Loaded event to then do some positioning.
Silverlight Hosting in WPF
David Kelley blogs about a WPF panel that hosts Silverlight ... much simpler than other ways of trying to do this.
Self Editing XML File
David Kelley has a not really Silverlight, but pretty interesting post up on .hta and what all you can get involved in if you try real hard. I'd read the disclaimers he's posted :)
Day #30: Bing Maps In Silverlight
Jeff Blankenburg has both of his last two posts of the 31-Days series up. This one is on Silverlight and Bing Maps... where to get it, install it, wire it up, and it's basic use.
Day #31: Geocoding and More Fun In Bing Maps for Silverlight
Jeff Blankenburg's last post in the series is also on Silverlight and Bing Maps, but takes the direction of Geocoding and the Bing Maps building on the code from day 30.
Day #10: Styling Silverlight Controls
Searching SilverlightCream, I realized I had missed two of Jeff Blankenburg's posts... #10 is on Styling controls.
Day #11: Animating Your Silverlight Application
Jeff Blankenburg's Day #11 was on animation using Blend and is a pretty cool post, not sure how I missed these two, but they're all there now!
