From SilverlightCream.com:
Digital Wall - redux
Andrew Myhre sent me an email about this app this morning, and I have to admit I didn't 'get it' at first ... but after some reading on his site, this is pretty darn cool.. you log in, and draw on top of whatever is there already, and you're seeing a display of a wall of his office all 'tagged' up by Silverlighters around the world... very interesting...thanks Andrew!
Obtain cool looking text without embedding fonts in Expression Blend 2
Silverlight Girl gives a great example of getting cool and fun text without that whole font embedding thing that's been talked about... check out her example... fun stuff ... thanks, SG!
How to create a Visual WebGui Silverlight custom control
webgui posted again at SilverlightShow and at first I thought this was the same entry, but this is a Visual WebGUI SL custom control... and a very nice tutorial on doing it too!
GotFocus and LostFocus events on Silverlight containers
Tim Greenfield demonstrates how to find out when a container has lost or gained focus... a bit more effort than what you might like, but hey... it works!
DevReach Panel Discussion Now on .NET Rocks
Shawn Wildermuth together with the DotNetRocks crew... dang... I bet that was a good time! ... listen to it at DNR.
Cross Browser Clipboard : DataGrid with Excel support – Part 2
Manish Dalal posted Part 2 of his Silverlight datagrid to Excel and across browsers project... Really good explanations, and lots of code.
140+ Microsoft Expression free training videos and growing!
Arturo Toledo blogged about the Microsoft Expression site having over 140 training videos ... wow! ...
Introducing TransitionContentControl
Ruurd Boeke introduces a "Transition" Content control that gives you the ability to show a transition from one content to another... very cool demo, and all the code.
Developing a Casual Games with Silverlight 2 - Module 2
Joel Neubeck reports that the second in his Casual Games series is up. This one is on movement and collision detection... this is a very cool, detailed article.
Customize Silverlight Toolkit Controls: NumericUpDown
Ning Zhang has another article up on the NumericUpDown control and I thought it was his previous post until I read the subject that he's customizing the control this time, and very cool I might add!
Silverlight: and Windows Azure
Chris Hay has really been digging into Azure, and has a nice post up discussing Silverlight and Azure. He also has an article with information shared back and forth in the comments with Tim Heuer: Silverlight: Amazon CloudFront

Stay in the 'Light!
