Silverlight Control Builder Contest '08



There's 20 days left until the August 11th deadline for entries in the Silverlight Control Builder Contest!

Don't get caught short on the deadline... there are some amazing prizes... the printed list is too long to fit on my browser page here at work... and that's just 1st prize! To see all the prizes including graphics, I have to hit scroll down 7 times... yikes...

I'm anxiously awaiting the entries so I can see what everyone's working on.

If you haven't been there lately, Page has added a checkbox that will automatically send your control over to Silverlight Nuggets... so we can all see your hard work!

Koen Zwikstra did a major release of Siverlight Spy over the weekend and I missed it... and wow... he's added XAP package, Control Style, and even Isolated Storage inspection! This is pretty darned amazing, and should be on your desktop!
Bubbly Skin Updated for Beta 2
Rounding out the list of stuff that was released last weekend when I was busy is Corrina Barber's update of the "Bubbly" skin to SL2B2 -- check this out... great-looking skins, Corrina!
Dynamic Styles
Lee snuck one in on me yesterday about Dynamic Styles and followed it up this morning with Dynamic Styles - part 2 where he uses Isolated Storage to retrieve a user's theme setting.... yes I said theme!
Super Easy Animated Layout in Silverlight
Robby Ingebretson has a new blog, a new look, and whoa... check out this animated layout panel. I saw Bill Reiss doing something close to this with FarSeer Physics and springs at the Summit, but this boys and girls, is all SL2B2... so go scoop all this goodness up, and leave Robby an appreciative comment in the process!
