Once upon a time back in 1991 there was a settlement between Apple Corp(the Beatles Company) and Apple Computer which basically stated that Apple Computer will not deal with the business of selling music. Something perfectly reasonable at that time.
Fastforward to today (2006), Apple Computer sells music (the digital kind) via Itunes which is the reason for this lawsuit. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.
