Adding to the right-click menu in Windows
I use a program called SciTE ( as a notepad alternative. To make life easier I added “Scite“ to the right-click menu in windows. Vista coolness
I was skimming the Bill Gates PDC keynotes video and saw an extremely cool Vista feature. You can actually plug in USB thumb drives and let Windows (via a program called SuperFetch) use them as if they are physical ram upgrades. So if your system has 512 megs of ram and you need an extra 512megs, just plug in your 512meg flash drive and BAM! You got it! (I'm sure its not as fast as real ram, but it has to be faster than writing to disk). /me claps ......

What I learned today.
I learned a few important things about calling a stored procedure from an orchestration today. 1. Use “add generated items” instead of trying to create the schema and ports yourself2. Make sure your SQL in the procedure ends with “for xml auto, xmldata” BEFORE you add generated items. Then remove the “, xmldata” part when you have your orchestration running.3. Make sure in the adapter properties of your send port that the “document target namespace“ ......

For my first blog entry I'd like to mention something that seems to be left out of the many Biztalk tutorials and examples out on the web.
