When we started working on MOSS websites in 2007, many of our clients wanted to use MOSS for its CMS capabilities in their branded websites. We had to figure out how to make a MOSS website look like our client's website design, which in every case looked nothing like the default MOSS or SharePoint design!
Over the course of 2007 we came up with a base Master Page to use in MOSS, which helped streamline our skinning process for MOSS. In April 2008, I gave a presentation to our developers which demonstrated our process for skinning the MOSS websites.
Now that presentation is available as a 10-part screencast series. We want to share the screencast with other developers, so I'll be posting the series chapters here. We're also working on a website to showcase the blogs, presentations and screencasts of the developers at e.magination. We're looking forward to launching that website, which will be a subsite of www.emagination.com (yep, we built our company website in MOSS!). In the meantime, I'll start posting the MOSS UI Tutorial screencasts here.
