Have other GWB bloggers come across this as well? I just noticed that my blogs comments count did not match up. In fact, it shows "90 Posts | 7 Stories | 1 Comments | 53 Trackbacks". However, there are individual entries " Feedback (5)" that exceed this count. This also appears to be happening on other GWB blogs.

For example, "Running with Code" shows " 9 Posts | 0 Stories | 2 Comments | 3 Trackbacks ". Yet, accessing one blog entry alone reveals that this count is incorrect.

Anyways, a quick trip to Google revealed that there was once a bug #1596444 on sourceforge for "Comment count reset to zero after upgrad". But this occured back during SubText 1.9 to 1.9.2. And according to https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1596444&group_id=137896&atid=739979, this should be fixed for 1.9.4, which I believe is what GWB is running on. Other entries for 1.9.4 also show this to be fixed (http://idunno.org/archive/2007/02/12/Subtext-1.9.4-is-available-for-download.aspx).

Not a big deal. It's just one of those things that you come across as a developer where you suddenly get very interested in finding the root cause of the problem. Especially on a platform that you have no control over and appears as a black box to you =).

Yes, that's been fixed for ages. If GWB is seeing it again then there's something wrong (again), or that the trigger still exists on the GWB database.

It was an import issue that we are planning to fix during the next upgrade (1.9.5). The feedback count issue on individual items has to do with the lack of a proper spam filter and this will be addressed as well in the next release.
