So I've mentioned John Lam's name in a couple of previous blog entries at http://geekswithblogs.net/yowhann/archive/2006/12/10/100832.aspx and http://geekswithblogs.net/yowhann/archive/2007/02/25/107289.aspx. I'm not sure how involved he was with it, but it looks like Jim Hugunin was at least involved in a Dynamic Language Runtime (DLR) at Microsoft. Well, in any case, in the aftermath of Mix07 (yes, it's been several days now), the news spread throughout various mediums (Hanselminutes anyone?).
Wonder when we can see the Ruby bits on top of DLR (no, not RubyCLR). Anyone at the demo with John Lam and Jim Hugunin, please do share =). Very mind boggling stuff as people continue to marry the best of both worlds.
