To remove the ANNOYING beep when your wireless connects using the Dell D620
Right click on the Intel ProSet/Wireless icon in the system tray
Click Open Intel ProSet/Wireless
Click Tools => Application Setting
Uncheck “Show Information Notifications”
Click Ok and Close

Thanks, really. I see you posted this over a year ago and regarding the D620 laptop, but the issue has still remained with the D630 as well.
Managed to get rid of this wonderfully annoying issue thanks to your post! What I don't understand though is why DELL/Intel haven't done anything about it themselves?!!
