Andy Warren (@sqlandy) , Microsoft MVP, was our March speaker at the West Palm Beach .Net User Group. Andy spoke about SQL Statistics and answered all our SQL questions. We appreciate Andy's long drive from Orlando to come speak at our South Florida group and his commitment to sharing his knowledge regardless of the distance barrier.
The group enjoyed free pizza brought to us by our group coordinator Venkat Subramanian. It is no easy task running around to buy food for the group, especially after a long day staring at a computer monitor. Thanks Venkat for your support and help!
Our April speaker will be Scott Klein, co-founder of Blue Syntax Consulting and a SQL MVP. We look forward to hearing in-depth information on Azure Storage, which Scott plans to share with us.
On another note, due to unforseen personal reasons, I was unable to make it to the Orlando .Net Code Camp this year. I greatly regret missing an event bound to be a blast with a great speaker lineup and more than 700 registered attendees. I wish all those speaking and attending this event today a fun-filled day and look forward to being there next year.
With my regret out of the way, below please find some photos of Andy's talk. :)
Hope to see you all at our April meeting!
